How to set up your ESB2 on the range

About 5 minutes5 stepsMarked up as HowTo
Before you start

The ESB2 is designed to work without a phone. From opening the box to reading your first shot takes about five minutes.

Step 1. Charge the unit fully

Use the supplied cable. A full charge takes about three hours and gives you roughly twenty hours of use.

Step 2. Position the unit behind the ball

Place the ESB2 four to six feet directly behind the ball, square to your target line. Use the tripod on uneven ground.

Step 3. Power on and select your club

Press and hold the power button, then use the club selector so the unit applies the right expectations to the shot.

Step 4. Hit a shot and read the screen

Ball speed, club speed, carry, total, smash factor, spin rate and launch angle appear on the display within about a second.

Step 5. Optional: pair the ES Range App

Open the app, enable Bluetooth, and select ESB2 to log sessions, keep shot history, and build a practice plan.

If something is not working

If the unit is not reading shots, check that nothing is blocking the sensor window and that you have at least four feet of clearance behind the ball.
